Our own Criminal Minds...
Pretty self explanatory. Can make 2 characters and they work on the newly assembled BAU. Your first post will be them getting ready and heading to work for the first day. Have fun making them. For this you have the choice of saying a preferred weapon (can include gun or whatever you want)
Name: Kensi Panner
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Personality: Think female version of Reid, except kick-ass. Is a military brat. Her dad was a Navy Seal and she was the only child. He practically raised her as a son. Is quite and has a hard time fitting in. Could kill a person in the blink of an eye. Both parents died in a"car crash" under dubious circumstances. She has been trying to help others ever since so that they wouldn't end up like her. Joined the BAU as she thought it would be a little interesting and a challenging job.
Preferred weapon: Loves a sniper rifle, so wouldn't mess with her. Also proficient with knives (what would you expect with an upbringing like that)

WIP WILL FINISH LATER
Thank god I thought you would take Tech Analysis. Back down pitch that's my position. I meant to say pitch btw. Getting in the spirit of Now You See Me
Ask me to catch you a killer, and I will give you a man, killer's aren't monsters, they are people, no more no less. The monster is their mind.
Name:
Evan Turner
Most call him E.T
Age:
30
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Evan or E.T is cocky, arrogant and intelligent. He isn't smart so to speak but does have a clever mind and is known for his devilish mind. One he was five he discovered magic, when he was eleven he discovered technology and when he was sixteen he discovered alcohol.
At the age of sixteen, Evan and a couple of friends were at the park late one night. They were crossing it as a short cut to get back to his house after watching a movie. A gang of college boys met them at the edge of the park. The college gang descended on Evan and his friends and out of fear, he retaliated and killed one. Evan already had mild charges to his name, petty things really but murder on top of those would finish him. One of his friends took the blame for him and since it was dark, none of the college boys were able to tell them apart. Evan's friend was eventually let out on good behaviour eight months later. Not even a week had passed and the college kids found him and killed him. Just before he died called Evan, he apologised and told him that if it wasn't for him, he wouldn't have died protecting anyone. The boy's screams were heard down the phone. Evan turned depressed, hid behind his computers and drank, a lot. When he got out of school he went to college and applied for the FBI. He never told them he could kill, or that he had. He used his technology expertise to get him in, which it did. He has a strong hatred for college kids.
Now Evan is seemingly absent minded. He will at times participate in group discussions but for the most part keeps to himself. This isn't because he has a bad temperamental but because he is generally hungover and his head is throbbing too much. He is cocky and rebellious, he will often strive to do things his way and won't take cr*p from anyone about it.
Others:
Is good at magic, likes to prank and often comes to work hungover unless it's highly important in which case he doesn't drink the night before

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
Ok. So time to make your first post. You can either do it in 1st or 3rd person. (do thoughts in italics please)
I looked at the clock and jumped up as I realized I was going to be late First day at work, yippee. I am going to be late on my first day at work I pulled on a pair of black work pant and a button up purple top before grabbing a up and go and running out the door into my waiting Golf. I sped all the way there and pulled up in the QUANTICO parking lot smiling. I am on time

I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock as it went off. My head was pounding a million miles an hour and an empty bottle of vodka sat taunting me on my bedside table. "Geez", I moaned as I ran a hand through my hair. I could remember going all out for it last night, but a whole bottle of vodka even frightened me. When I finally found the last dregs of my energy, I put it to use, practically crawling for the shower. The water did nothing for me other than increase the pain in my head. Luckily the rest of my morning routine was less painful and more rhythmic, I was able to glide through it easier and grumble to myself less. Over ten years of doing this routine and I still grumble even though I'll be on the tequila tonight no doubt.
I was unsure of how I should present myself so I arrived at the precinct in a suit a size too large (internet shopping sucks) and dark sunglasses covering up my bloodshot eyes. I was surprised that it took me so long to find a parking space and I found myself asking questions like, "What is this? The freaking airport?" As I made my way around. When I finally pulled my little brown VW into a parking lot (I call it my Little Turd) I had recollected more of my energy and I was able to walk into work like a more civilised person, not the grunting caveman-like abomination that I was this morning. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a young blonde woman walking into the same building and I prayed she wouldn't notice me. Socialising is hard enough, doing it when your hungover is twice as bad. Please don't look around, don't turn your head in my direction. Just keep on walking and if I'm lucky you and I won't even have to talk for days! These were the only thoughts on my mind, the only thoughts my brain could process I really should say.

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I noticed a very hungover looking guy walking behind me and rolled my eyes. I had better not be working with that drunkard. I was so consumed in my thoughts that I almost ran into a tall bald guy after I got into the room I was told the team would assemble in. "Sorry.." I began. The man turned around and nodded at me "Special Agent Panner, I am Special Agent Roger Brant. I am the lead on this team." he smiled and motioned towards two other agents, a lady and a man, standing talking to each other.

I walked inconspicuously into the precinct and kept my head down. The less I was noticed, the better. I entered the conference room and leaned in the doorway with my hands in my pockets. A man with a skin tone that one can only get from spending more time in outdoors than inside, more muscles than the hulk and sandy blonde hair grinned at me.
"Hmm dark glasses, head down, and flinching at loud noises. You're hungover bad, aren't you E.T?" The man laughed
He was Special Agent Jake Walker and I had met him prior to joining, ran into the bastard a couple of times actually. Each time I walked in here, BAM! I ran into him. As if I wasn't already self-conscious about my scrawny figure. Compared to him I looked like a toothpick with a furball on top. Now I was working with him. Great!
"Congratulations, my mother could have done a better profile", I grumbled bitterly.
Walker smirked.
"Hey, you made it easy. You drunk texted me at four in the morning. You said you were Batman and that not even I could whoop your ass", Walker replied simply, as he spoke he waved his mobile in the air.
Another mistake on my behalf. Jake and I went to the bar one night after we had run into each other, again. We ended up exchanging numbers and now for some reason whenever I get drunk, I text him. I don't know why and if Walker didn't have a sense of humour, I would probably get myself killed.
"I will end you", I muttered.
((You can do the female because I want Evan to have a crush on her so that puts her between 26-30 year of age, if that's alright))

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I laughed softly as Walker pointed out the completely obvious fact to the man, I think that it was E.T.? Why would you name your kid that? snapped back to my senses and the petite black woman who had also been standing int he room walked over to me. "Hi, I am Lindsey Marks." I smiled back and shook her hand. "I'm Kensi Panner," I said a little awkwardly. She smiled and smoothed her frizzy hair down.
Re: Our own Criminal Minds...

I was hungover and there were females around, and if Walker opened up his mouth again, I swear it would get ugly. I didn't move from my position and kept my watch over the group. For now I liked where I was. If things turned sour, I would be the first to leave, and probably hide. Walker gave me a cocky smile, pocketed his phone and spread his hands across the table.
"Since everybody here is sharing names I might as well join in. The names Jake Walker and my badly hungover and delirious buddy over there is Evan Turner, I call him E.T" He grinned and leant back in his chair. 'You're welcome' he mouthed at me.
I should have applied for a gun but luckily for me there are more ways to injure a man than with a bullet. As soon as these people leave to wherever the next psycho on their hit list was, I would plot my revenge. In the meantime, I was stuck with formalities. "Is there a point to this session? If not I have a crapload of expensive technology I need to sort out" I said, trying to ease the bitterness in my voice.

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I smiled. "Well, thanks for the intro. I agree, is there really a point to this meeting? I was asked to take over a sniper training lesson, cause the instructor is 'sick'."
Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
((A Lannister and a ghost are in this rp, shit just got real!))
- Evan Turner (E.T) -
"A Sniper training session? At this rate the newer recruits will be doing more work than us in the field", I said sarcastically.
Walker swung his chair in my direction with his eyes wide.
"I think E.T just made a joke", He said with a cocky grin smeared on his face.
I just shook my head in annoyance and to move some strands of hair from my eyes. Since this literally didn't seem to be going anywhere and everyone seemed to know who I was, I decided to go check out my computers. I had seen them before but I had only recently been allowed to use them. Protocol and stuff. As I entered my IT room, I was greeted by five computers, three down the bottom with two above, the BAU logo lazily spinning around slowly on the screens. There was a whiteboard to the to the right of the room as well, the markers for which I was keeping stored in my desk drawer. The only personal item on the desk itself was an old photo. It was of me and my friends, all of them. I entered the room slowly, closing the door behind me. This was where I felt the most at ease. I settled myself at my desk and decided to test all the security on the computers, you know the programs that kept hackers and viruses out. Which I thought was an important task to do since I had the feeling that Walker might try to use these monitors to look up porn.

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I watched as E.T walked out. I pushed my chair out and walked out to the armory and picked up my rifle before walking out to the 3rd years training session. I noticed a few of them looking at me wondering why I was there and not the usual instructor. " I Special Agent Kensi Panner. I will be teaching you today." I smiled a little wickedly and positioned me rifle and let off a few shots.
Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
((Do you want Evan to find a case while he is working. He could like find a killer that is posting his crimes on the internet or something? Also just borrowing Marks for a minute ; I also think I'm going to make Walker one of my characters. He and Turner are going to have the Reid-Morgan relationship we know and love)))
- Evan Turner (E.T) -
The computer systems seemed to be working well enough and that left me with nothing else to do. I contemplated Googling some good prank ideas but dismissed it. After all I couldn't risk someone finding out about it because Walker was an obvious target. I heard a knock on the door and jumped. I wasn't exactly expecting company in my den of technology. When I didn't respond the door clicked open.
"Turner?" A female voice asked.
I nearly jumped. I was expecting Walker, or maybe even the head of team, not a female. I spun around in my chair and smiled pleasantly.
"Welcome to my lair", I said in a mock sinister voice.
Lindsay smiled and entered the IT room, closing the door behind her.
"Why is it so dark in here?" She asked as she walked over to stand beside me.
"Because I'm Batman", I replied. Might as well go with it now.
She laughed. When she stopped she noticed that my desk looked rather pitiful. "Why do you only have one photo on your desk?" She asked curiously.
"I only need one", I replied.
I guess that was true. I didn't have many photos at home and most of the ones taken of me and my friends I had burnt after one of them died. The corner of that photo was also burnt but you couldn't see it in the darkness and the worst of it was covered by the frame.
"By the looks of it they're your friends. It's so sweet that you kept a photo for your desk", she said sweetly.
I had to refrain from making a gagging noise. Instead I reached across in front of her and moved the photo in front of me.
"Yeah", I muttered, "Real sweet".
The only reason I kept the photo was to remind me of why I joined the FBI.

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
( Umm yeah you can find a random one. Then report it to Brant kk )
I finished off the class and walked back to the armory, the students parting like the red sea around me. I cleaned my rifle and put i back in its case and locked it away. I walked back into the BAU room and checked out my desk. I began to unpack my box of things.

((Do you want to role-play Brant when Evan comes to him?))
- Evan Turner (E.T) -
Lindsay eventually left me to my devices. I think my technological expertise had scared her off, either that or just me in general. I flexed my fingers and began to search the files stored on my computer. I was looking through Walker's file trying to find something I could use against him when an alert popped up on the screen. I instantly investigated it. I was taken to a blogging site. It was poorly created but that wasn't the worst of it. The very first photo that I noticed was of a mutilated woman. Below it were photos of her children. Same manner. The caption read; 'I think I'm getting better'. I felt sick to my stomach. Below it were four more photos, four more different people. The level of violence was horrific. I walked outside and briskly headed for Brant's office. I didn't even bother to knock.
"Computer...bodies...case..." I stuttered.
I hadn't expected to find my first case like that, at least not on my first day. I couldn't get the photos out of my head. I mean who could do that to people, to kids? And then have the guts to post it online. If I get my hands on this guy, things would get ugly, fast. As for right now though, I needed to pull myself together.

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I saw E.T. hurry over to Brant's office.Wonder what that was about. I stood up as Brant poked his head out the door. "Conference room, now." I walked over to the conference room and took a seat next to Lindsey.
Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
PS just assume Brant looked over everything made a few calls and hey presto. we have a case. I want Brant to remain a mystery, like completely, for now.

I dashed back to my computers and began to frantically find out about what I could on the bodies so I could inform everyone else. It didn't take me long, which was a surprise. These computers were fast. I grabbed my laptop which was stored in a drawer because I didn't need it when I was using these computers, loaded the site, and grabbed a cord so that I could connect it to the monitor in the conference room. Satisfied that I had all that I would need for now, I raced out, headed straight for the conference room. My power walk was short lived when I ran into Walker. Jake raised his eyebrows at me.
"You ok E.T?" He asked, noticing the laptop.
"When you see what I found, you won't be" I retorted.
Walker shrugged and followed me into the conference room. I connected the laptop and returned to my doorway position. Walker on the other hand had taken up a seat next to Panner. The images, which I had compiled together now appeared on the monitor.
"Becca Roberts, her children Lisa and William Roberts, Greg Hempstead, Penny Smith, John Danton and Bethany Grey. All were murdered and photos of their bodies posted on a blog site", I said shakily as I read the names from left to right.

I looked at the pictures. "How haven't we heard about this yet? Surely the news would have picked it up?" Lindsey nodded looking quite pale.

((Yay, well done to me! Is Evan flying with them?))
- Evan Turner (E.T) -
"You lot are the profilers. The only reason why I found it was because the computers are wired to scan the internet to pick up things like this. If I only just found it, doubt anyone over there did. And by there I mean Texas", I said flatly.
Texas, home to so many gory horror flicks both on and off the big screens. I fiddled around with the remote in my hand as I thought about anything else that should be noted to the group.
"The men were part of gang, and the girls were call girls I might add, I'm talking high class expensive call girls, nothing Walker ever gets on a Saturday night", I added.
I couldn't help but smirk when I noticed the annoyed look on Jake's face.
"Alright, that was cute but that's all you got?" Walker asked, almost daring me to say something else.
"I'm a tech not a stand up comedian", I replied lightly with a shrug.
[size=9]Jake rolled his eyes then turned his attention to the monitor.[/size

Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
I looked between the two men, no scrap that boys, and smirked. "We can't go unless we are invited by the local cops anyway." Brant looked over and nodded. "well when I told them what was happening they were all to happy to let us come down there and help out. Pack your bags and be ready. Wheels up in 3 hours."
Re: Our own Criminal Minds...
((You didn't answer my question about E.T flying with them or staying behind))
- Evan Turner (E.T) -
"Tell me we aren't taking short and curly", Walker muttered, pointing in my direction.
He then stood up, walked past me and headed down to his desk. As he passed me, I stuck out my foot and tripped him up. Even the strongest men can fall for my pranks, literally. I walked back into the room to grab my laptop and cord, paused in the doorway to shrug, then left for my tech quarters. The cool blast of air conditioning and the hum of the monitors greeted. The song of my people. The door closed behind me as I entered the room to place down the laptop and its cord. I reached into the drawer and grabbed out my markers. Might as well keep myself up to date with the case. I doubt that I would be needed often and the more technology I have, the better I work. I walked over to the board and began to write.
'Texas Case'
I considered writing up the list of victims but the decided to print the photos. The printer was on the far left of my desk and was one of the only four in this section if the precinct. It was password locked though so I could control who used it. I had set that up when I first got to use the technology here. The only people who knew the password was the team, it was to limit the amount of people who interrupted us on cases. It didn't take long for the pictures to print and I stuck them up on the board as well, after I wrote the names on the bottom of the photos. Satisfied of my start, I sat back down in my chair and began to search the locations of the bodies, since each appeared to be found in a home.

((It is the first case so may as well))
I walked over to my desk and pulled out my already packed go bag. I walked out to my car and rove over to the airstrip. Everyone else turned up shortly after I did. We boarded the plane and each of us went to our separate seats.
ABOUT 2 AND A HALF HOURS LATER
The plane set down in Nashville, Texas. We all got out and started to head over to the police station.

It had taken sometime but I had the computers up and running and working their little hard drives overtime. My whiteboard now had lists of these peoples lives, to which I was pleased. I took a sip of a coffee I had made just after they had left. The coffee was terrible but caffeine is caffeine. I drummed my fingers against the table bored. I couldn't contact them until they landed and I had received no phone calls so I was of little use. I wasn't able to contact them because I had no clue of how long the flight would take and whether or not their phones would be on. In the meantime I was just a scrawny man locked in a dark room. Anyone would think I was a dyslexic vampire or something. The coffee was far from helpful on the scrawny point. I reached into my pocket and pulled out packet of painkillers. I took two of them down with a swig of coffee and prayed it would help to take the edge off of my migraine.
